Wembley Quick Facts

  • Population of 9613 (as of 2006 Census).
  • Medium age of residents is 35.
  • Established in 1909 but was officially gazetted in 1924.

Wembley is a peaceful established suburb that’s just 5km from the Perth CBD. A close knit community that has more of a village feel, Wembley has easy access to the freeway and Subiaco.

Like a lot of the suburbs in the northwestern corridor, Wembley has a mix of classic 1930’s style houses, striking modern homes, townhouses, apartments and units. The streets of the suburb are well maintained and lined with fully grown peppermint trees.

The suburb has great schools (in particular Wembley Primary School), a good variety of shops and beautiful open spaces, like our family favourite – Lake Monger. The Wembley Golf Club and Bold Park Aquatic Centre are both nearby and are excellent facilities.

Wembley has a 5 year growth rate of 11.8% and is well suited to investors and first home buyers.
