Increasingly I have valued the location of my home.  I make regular trips to the city, and to the beach, both of which are within easy reach.  Subiaco, Floreat Forum and Leederville, with their shops, cafes, theatres and bars, are only a few minutes away.  To regularly catch up with friends, or shop, without having to travel far, is a real bonus.

My children’s school days are fondly remembered.  They were raised here and walked to Wembley Primary School.  Later they were able to ride their bikes to Churchlands High School and then, later still, to U.W.A.  Meanwhile another high school, Shenton College, within easy reach, has been established.

Whenever I’m away, the house feels secure to lock up and leave.
