Why I love the real estate industry
I love my job. For me, there is nothing better than helping a homeowner sell for the best price possible or finding a dream home for a new homebuyer. It’s a great job and it’s something that I aspire to do very well.
Unfortunately, the real estate industry doesn’t have the most stellar reputation but this is something that I’m hoping to change. With a little hard work and leadership I’m looking to show how important this industry is and how we can make a positive impact in people’s lives.
How my strengths work for you
Over the years I’ve held many positions that have given me great grounding for my career in real estate. I’ve been everything from a fitter and turner to a regional sales manager, but once I found real estate – I was hooked. Eight years later, I can say without a doubt, that I’ve found my calling.
One of my key strengths is that I’m a problem solver. I work methodically and quickly to find solutions to any issue – which is a real bonus in this industry. My strong, competitive nature works in my clients’ favour because I get things done and I do whatever it takes to make sure they are happy.
I’m an eternal optimist with a positive outlook on life and I enjoy surrounding myself with positive and happy people. I regard myself as a real people person. I’m a great listener and I have a genuine interest in the wants and needs of my clients.
I do things a little differently to other real estate agents. My approach is based on openness and trust – from the marketing of your property through to the negotiations. Everything I do, while representing you is aimed at being in your best interest. I’m always up-front, open and honest and I know that my clients appreciate this point of difference.
I am passionate about my family and creating an environment that will allow my kids to thrive and become the best they want to be and have life choices.
Although I lead a very busy work schedule I ensure that my two boys are always put first and my number one priority is to spend quality time with my family and to create balance in our lives (a work in progress).
I do my utmost to stay fit by running, boxing and the odd game of golf and believe that a healthy and energetic body and mind is critical in life and certainly my industry.
I know the local community
A sense of community is becoming more of a priority as people weigh up the pros and cons of a suburb. I live in Mount Hawthorn with my wife and our two sons and community was a big drawcard for us.
I’m not just an agent who happens to sell in this area, I’ve lived here for years. I can vouch for the quality of the parks, playgrounds, schools and shopping centres in the inner northwestern suburbs because I use them all the time. I know this area well and I’d love to introduce you to it.
