Sayers, just off the Oxford Street strip, in Carr Place, is one of my favourite Leederville coffee shops.
For a start it’s small and has a warm, intimate, laid back vibe. The colourful decore, including lots of plump cushions on inviting couches, make for a place to relax and unwind.
And it’s popular, especially for Sunday breakfast. Must say I’m a tad partial to their full breakfast, complete with delicious potato cake. The food is always fresh and well presented.
But my favourite at Sayers is the coffee, which comes from Five Senses. There’s something about the way they make their long macs that’s, I don’t know, magical. Not too strong, not too hot, just right.
The service is relaxed and casual but always attentive and on the ball. The crew there are always quick with a smile and a kind word.
I love that Sayer’s are so with it in real life and online. They’re on Twitter (@sayersfood) and I suspect they’re about to launch a Facebook fan page.
